Cambridge Assessment had specific requirements and clear objectives of the exercise which were to obtain condition and cost data and forecasts of the internal and external fabric of the buildings.


What we did

  •  Provided planned and preventative maintenance surveys of a varied building stock, located over seven of the client’s sites in East Anglia and the Midlands.

  • Obtained condition and cost data and forecasts of the internal and external fabric of the buildings for a 10 year period with additional comment on statutory compliance.

  • Appointed and managed an external specialist consultant to provide car park H&S data to the client.

  • Developed a report format through close consultation with the client.

  • Held follow up meetings with the client to discuss and further develop the data obtained with a view to implementation of planned repair and maintenance items.



  • The surveys were completed over a pre-determined programme allowing for specific access requirements to be met including access to sensitive and restricted areas.

  • The completed reports were presented to the client with the aid of graphical data to provide the expenditure forecasts, and also highlighted priority items of repair. This allowed the client to confidently allocate their resources and expenditure to maintain.
