Bidwells was initially instructed to advise on the CAT A refurbishment for the landlord and then to deliver the combined landlord and tenant works as one fit-out project.
The project required significant design input to rejuvenate a tired and dilapidated building
at the expiry of a 25-year lease and improve the base build specification to current occupier standards.
After initially advising on the dilapidations, Bidwells designed and managed the build project to renovate and remodel a dilapidated 1980’s lab building into six modern units suitable for a start-up business on Cambridge Science Park.
Bidwells acted for the client in negotiations relating to the landlord’s dilapidations claim, prior to the expiry of their 15-year lease term at Bateman House in Cambridge.
Bidwells was retained to advise and manage the construction of two new, high quality, 4-bed
detached dwellings in a popular necklace village, close to Cambridge.
Bidwells was retained to design and administer the refurbishment of parts of a multi-tenanted building at Carlyle House, Cambridge in order to modernise it for marketing.
