Prepared and submitted a planning application for a 15,000sqm new academic building to form a new gateway to the UEA Campus, one of the largest building projects the University has embarked upon since its formation in the early 1960s.
Bidwells was instructed to obtain Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent applications for the alteration and extension of the Grade II Listed Bears Farmhouse and the demolition of the existing outbuildings, conservatory and northern porch.
Bidwells Planning & Heritage Team in conjunction with Norr Architects were appointed to prepare a full detailed major planning application for the erection of a custody suite building with ancillary office space along with alterations to car parking, including a new vehicular access area.
Bidwells' Planning and Heritage teams, supported by the Urban Design Studio, were appointed to review a planning strategy for the redevelopment of an existing care home. The facility was outdated and limited to the confines of the existing Victorian villa, and a cramped urban plot.
