Graduate Rural Surveyor
What do you enjoy most about working for Bidwells?
I feel lucky to be a part of the Private Estates Team at Bidwells. I enjoy working within my team in rural alongside accomplished professionals who are always willing to give up their time to help me develop my career and assist with training. As a graduate you will be given the support and time to develop as a professional and progress through the APC process with the RICS and the CAAV. My favourite aspects being the diverse range of work I am involved with and being able to work agilely which for me put Bidwells ahead of the rest.
What’s your biggest career achievement to date?
I achieved a challenging planning permission to convert a range of buildings from workshops to a residential dwelling adding ~ £350k to the value of my clients property. Within my first six months of working for the firm I was involved in a portfolio valuation of property in excess of £26 million.
What do you enjoy most about working in your office/ agilely?
Working in a modern flexible office dynamic alongside some of the best in the business achieving accolades such as Property Agent of the Year 2020. We also have a lot of fun, in 2019 the Oxford Office took part in a charity “rust bucket” rally where four teams raced £400 bangers from Oxford to our office in Fort William completing a scavenger hunt en-route and raising £10k for Maggies cancer support centres.
