Bidwells Hanson Portfolio mini-siteBidwells has been instructed to sell a number of properties belonging to Hanson UK, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of construction materials.
The portfolio across England and Wales comprises a wide variety of in excess of 20 properties, including six non operational brickworks with development potential in Yorkshire, Caernarfon, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Kent; former sand and gravel workings and quarries with commercial opportunities; former blockworks in Oxfordshire; and industrial land in Essex and Kent. The portfolio also offers lakes and fisheries, agricultural land, a building plot with consent for three units and a listed farmhouse with potential barn conversion. Some sites are being sold with vacant possession and some are subject to tenancies.
The sale offers the opportunity for investors to purchase a diverse portfolio with the potential of developing sites for commercial, residential and leisure based enterprises, including water based activities and will also appeal to those looking for sites with long term potential.
The properties will be brought to the market in May and will be available as a complete portfolio or as individual lots.
