"Essential Information" 2010 Released

BIDWELLS AGRIBUSINESS have launched the 2010 edition of their Essential Information document. It is designed to provide a summary of the key dates relating to the Single Payment Scheme and Cross Compliance regulations including the rules for Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (NVZ). It is an essential reference document for all farmers and landowners in England.

David Cousins, Head of Farm Management at Bidwells Agribusiness commented "this year there have been a number of changes to the details of Good Agricultural and Environmental Condition (GAEC) rules and some changes to the key dates which are outlined in the document."

"The 2010 guide also includes a practical guide to the Campaign for the Farmed Environment (CFE). The CFE is a voluntary initiative formed to improve the environmental management of English farmland as an alternative to the re-introduction of compulsory set aside. The CFE aims to achieve its goals by working alongside schemes such as Entry Level Stewardship (ELS). Essential Information looks at some of the options available to you under ELS, including those which will be key to the success of the CFE."
