Claire has 17 years of property experience.  She specialises in the valuation of rural property, farms and estates for institutional and private clients.

Claire provides specialist valuation advice for a wide range of property types including traditional estates, farms and agricultural property, country homes, equestrian, horticultural property, intensive livestock units, commercial grain storage facilities and renewable energy schemes.

She also specialises in valuation and strategic advice for the horse racing sector.

Valuations are carried out for a variety of clients including secured lending for all major commercial and private banks and annual portfolio valuations for institutional and public sector clients. 

She undertakes valuations for capital taxation and Inheritance Tax planning and advises on relevant property reliefs, including negotiating with HMRC and the Valuation Office. 

Claire provides valuations in connection with sales and purchases including acting on behalf of landlords and tenants in private transactions.    

She has acted as single expert witness in a number of property related disputes including professional negligence, family, matrimonial and partnership disputes including giving evidence in Court.  She holds the Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Level 7 BTEC.

Claire provides management and other professional advice for private landowners and farmers, including expertise in Landlord and Tenant, Compulsory Purchase, succession planning, farm diversification and renewable energy.
