      Andrew Robertson

With 40 years' experience in rural surveying within the third and private sectors, Andrew has dealt with a whole gamut of property issues. The challenge and how to create a positive outcome for his clients is what he loves most about his job.

Andrew holds an MBA, is a Council member for the Scottish Association of Agricultural Valuers and Arbitrators and has acted as an expert witness. He deals with complex negotiations such as the lease for the new Aberdeen Harbour development on behalf of Crown Estate Scotland.

Andrew's career has taken him the length and breadth of Scotland. He has negotiated multi-million-pound compensation claims, including those for salmon farmers in the aftermath of the Braer oil disaster, and managed some of the country's foremost historic properties.

Andrew is always conscious that the outcome of any negotiation directly impacts people's lives and livelihoods. Currently he is negotiating lease agreements on behalf of Crown Estate Scotland for North Sea cables and pipelines, and offshore wind farm electricity export cable routes for private landowners.

Andrew’s knowledge and experience have greatly assisted us in our discussions with developers.
