There is new opportunity for an Agency Surveyor to join the dynamic new Business Space Agency (BSA) team in Oxford, formed from the recent merger with a specialist commercial agency practise. This role will work directly with the Group Partner and alongside Lease Consultancy, Development and Project Management teams in the Oxford office. The position will be integral to the sustained growth of the Business Space agency team, building on the solid instruction base including 11 business and science parks, including the 700 acre Harwell Campus.

The main purpose of the role is to undertake agency instructions, primarily the sale and letting of office, R&D, industrial and retail properties in Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. The role will also assist with the agency of new developments, occupier acquisitions and consultancy.

 

The BSA teams in Oxford, Milton Keynes, Cambridge and London work very closely covering the 'Golden Triangle' region, and there will be a regional perspective to the work.

Part-time Secretary/Administrator

The Norwich office consists of Fee Earning Professionals from Commercial, Planning, Land & Business, New Homes, and Building Consultancy. The administration team within the office are required to provide comprehensive and professional support to the respective Divisions and Departments, ensuring the efficient running of the office.

 

We have a great opportunity here for an experienced secretary/administrator to work 29.5 hours per week, where the main focus of the role will be to provide a high standard of secretarial and administrative support to the Building Consultancy Team, with a small proportion of time allocated to a member of the Commercial Valuation team.

Typical duties will be to undertake audio typing from digital dictation system and to copy type letters, emails, reports, Building Surveys, Schedules of Dilapidations, Specifications of Works etc.  There will be diary management of team members, booking meetings and appointments using Outlook as well as involvement on the financial administration for the team which will see you chasing fee debtors and raising time & expense reports as well as raising fee invoices.

Client Accounting Services works with the Land and Business Division to provide book keeping, VAT, Payroll, accounts production and taxation services to the divisions's managed clients. The Accounts Controller will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients as well as supervising a small team of Accounts Assistants which will include recruitment and day to day performance management.
