Bidwells Building Consultancy have been established in Cambridge for close to half a Century and since their inception have been providing surveys, maintenance, design and project works to Cambridge University and its affiliated Colleges' unique building portfolio.
Due to the historic nature of the Cambridge built environment our team have developed an intrinsic understanding of how to maintain, refurbish and conserve historic building stock with professionally accredited conservation staff who are able to provide specialist advice if required.
Our teams also understand the need for the modernisation of Historic or Listed Buildings to provide commercial, financial, environmental and sustainable benefits for the demands of 21st century lifestyles. The team are skilled at producing designs and practical solutions to deliver the necessary enhancements to properties whilst conforming to the stringent checks and controls that will be imposed by local authorities.
