No two businesses are the same, so you wouldn’t expect our approach to be either.We are directly involved in the management of some 50,000 ha of farmland across the UK and overseas. Our involvement is at both an executive and operational level; working closely with farm managers employed by our clients as well as the arrangement, management and co-ordination of contract farming and joint venture arrangements with third parties. We formulated the original UK Contract Farming Agreement model back in the 1960s and now oversee the full management of some 25,000 hectares of full contract management agreements across the UK.
Our executive management service includes:
- Working closely with owners on long-term business strategy, business development and succession planning
- Directing and development of the farm manager and staff
- Working closely with farm managers on enterprise planning, labour and machinery organisation as well as day-to-day matters
- Complete financial management including book-keeping services, management reports and accounts, financial accounts, payroll and rent collection
- Organisation of all input purchasing and crop marketing
- Strategic agronomic support and information
