Bidwells Building Consultancy takes their commitment to the environment and sustainability very seriously, as demonstrated by our accreditation to ISO 14001 and by being one of a handful of consultants on the Green Register.
We believe that as our core business is directly working within the built environment, we have a responsibility to provide clarity to our clients on achieving an element of sustainability in each of their schemes, whilst understanding and mitigating the potential impacts on a projects budget.
In our view, whether advising on a large scale masterplan strategy, a new build scheme or the refurbishment of a building, there should not be a focus on the additional cost for utilising a sustainable design or construction technique, but a balance between life time costs, energy performance and responsible material usage.
Our team has developed a number of new and complementary skills and services relating to sustainable construction which are having a real impact on all areas of the built environment. This offering is allows our clients to achieve recognised accreditation such as BREEAM or LEED whilst balancing out turn scheme costs.
Our team is proud to have successfully delivered a number of projects within these parameters and we have been encouraged by our clients' positive attitude to our responsible approach.
