Changes to the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations

"Changes to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations which came into force on 1 September 2008 now provides Local Planning Authorities with the power to request EIA for the approval of Reserved Matters where it is considered that the EIA process and procedures have not been adequately or appropriately carried out prior to the approval of outline planning permission."
